Jolene Brown will have you laughing while you learn! She’s fun and funny, long-legged but not long-winded, and so insightful audiences accuse her of sleeping under their beds. The positive impact of her work is well documented by the accolades of those who have had her speak for their events. Through humor, hope, and helpful ideas her messages are guaranteed to bring us ideas to put into action and something good to talk about in the days to comes.

As a professional speaker, Jolene is an honored recipient of the Certified Speaking Professional award. This is the highest earned designation of speaking achievement from the National Speakers Association. She's made numerous guest appearances for television and radio broadcasts and her work has been featured in several major publications.

Jolene and her husband Keith live on a farm near West Branch, Iowa. She’s also the mom of two daughters and an avid supporter of community and church activities. Her real life stories have been gathered from every day life and shared with people throughout North America and countries beyond.

Our featured speaker this (morning, afternoon, evening) is Jolene Brown. She comes to us from West Branch, Iowa. Her fun-filled spirit and real life stories have kept her in demand for presentations all across North America. With lots of laughter and great insight she is known as one who brings humor, hope and helpful ideas to people who want to celebrate their world.

Jolene is an honored recipient of the highest earned designation of professional speaking achievement from the National Speakers Association. She is also the past chair of their National Ethics committee. Jolene has made numerous guest appearances for television and radio broadcasts and her work has been featured in several major publications.

Here are some details that will make Jolene's presentations "even better!"

Set up and equipment:
(For presentations 60 minutes and less using no handout material - keynotes

  • Jolene prefers not to speak from behind a head table or lectern;
  • hand-held wireless mike or hand held mike- removable from stand, with walking cord; (not lavaliere)
  • low raised platform if needed for visibility; close to the front rows of the audience

Set up and equipment:
(For presentations 60 minutes and longer using handout material - breakouts, workshops, seminars

Jolene will provide copy ready originals for you to reproduce. We ask you to make good quality copies, one set per participant, printed on one side using white paper and stapled in the upper left corner. The materials should be handed to people just prior to Jolene's presentation.

  • wireless clip mike;
  • low raised staging platform (8 inches high) if needed for visibility; Jolene would like to be as close to the audience as possible;
  • water pitcher and glass;
  • please provide a pencil or pen for each participant;
  • LCD projector on a small table;
  • Jolene will bring her IBM ThinkPad laptop with PowerPoint 2003 and a technician should be on hand to set up whatever equipment you’ll use to show it. The laptop should be on a table on the stage where Jolene can advance the slides.

  • Lighting: the most important thing is for the audience to be as fully lit as possible, while leaving the screen visible. The screen should be slightly stage left or right of the speaker.

Note: Please send a copy of all memos, program announcements, brochures, and other promotional materials relating to this presentation so our presentation will be consistent with your promotion. In addition, any annual reports, a company newsletter/paper/flyer, or any key product brochures would be appreciated, if available.
